The owner and CEO of Hyun Business Management (HBM), Christoph Hyun has over 15 years’ experience in defense contract consulting. He works with small and medium-sized businesses to win federal, state, and local government contracts in the $250,000 to $15 million range. Christoph Hyun guides business leaders to identify government contracting opportunities, develop winning proposals, and present them effectively at interviews.

Christoph Hyun has helped businesses win over $450 million in contacts from federal agencies such as the departments of Defense, Homeland Security, and Transportation. He has also successfully helped clients submit bids to the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

A first generation Korean-American, Christoph Hyun is a human resources (HR) professional by training. He has a BS in psychology from the University of Michigan and an MBA with a concentration in HR development from the University of Phoenix. He also has a Senior Professional in Human Resources certificate from the HR Certification Institute.

Christoph Hyun has more than 25 years’ experience in HR management. In addition to his consulting firm, he previously lead HR and administration operations at United Airlines’ United Aviate Academy in Goodyear, Arizona. His duties included implementing HR policies and overseeing functions such as talent acquisition, training and development, employee compensation and benefits, and employee safety. Mr. Hyun also covered succession planning, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and regulatory compliance and reporting. He previously led HR operations at KT Consulting.

A photography lover, Christoph Hyun enjoys taking photos of nature. He also offers affordable photography services for couples, family events, and car and bike shoots, and provides free photography services to several charities.
